What does it mean for a tonic to be micellar?
The surfactant or micellar additive in the tonic helps to more easily remove lipid-soluble impurities from the skin, such as daily makeup or dirt. Micelles form tiny spheres that encapsulate and envelop the tiny droplets of impurities during facial cleansing, making them easily removable even in a watery environment. The plant-based coconut surfactant gently cleanses without irritation.
How does the micellar hibiscus tonic work?
For seborrheic (oily, problematic) skin, regular and thorough facial cleansing is necessary as it is prone to inflammation and irritation. The active ingredients in the hibiscus micellar tonic not only remove daily impurities but also reduce excessive sebum production, normalize the skin, and support the exfoliation of dead skin cells thanks to the AHA acids in hibiscus. Hibiscus extract supports skin renewal and has a normalizing effect. Vitamin B3 reduces the likelihood of acne and blackhead formation and lightens spots.
