Why is sensitive, rosacea-prone skin considered a "difficult case"?
Sensitivity indicates damage to the skin surface. Such skin is particularly sensitive and may not tolerate oily or richer creams well, if at all. It tends to become red, tight, burning, or itchy, and you might feel like putting ice on it when it flares up (but don't!). The primary task is to rebuild and strengthen the skin's barrier layer, making it more resistant to irritating external factors.
Anti-aging poses additional challenges since many natural ingredients can be too strong for sensitive, rosacea-prone skin. For instance, we don't recommend using our strongest anti-aging Jasmine elixir in cases of rosacea.

Since sensitive, rosacea-prone skin struggles to tolerate cosmetics, it's crucial for peony cream to absorb quickly, leaving no greasy residue on the skin, while reducing the sensation of sore, tight skin. Its pleasant scent comes from botanical ingredients; it contains no added or artificial fragrances!
The cream's base comprises witch hazel and immortelle hydrosols, which soothe, tone, and moisturize. Its active ingredients include peony root extract, Mexican oregano extract, and tiger's eye extract, a unique combination responsible for reducing redness and burning sensation, promoting a uniformly beautiful complexion. It also contains apricot kernel oil, evening primrose oil, squalane, and babassu oil, which deeply nourish your skin from within. The reduction in wrinkle depth and the firmer, plumper skin is credited to the peony extract and acmella.
How to use the Peony Cream?
For some, it works best in the evening, for others, in the morning, but feel free to use it twice a day. We're not all the same, even if we share similar skin problems. The combined effects of peony serum and cream reinforce each other, so it's worth using them together (as a package deal) or alternating between them. We recommend it for firming the skin from the age of 35 onwards.
